Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Electric Concept Coupé is Your Futuristic Retro Dream Car

Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Concept Coupé
At Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance 2016, Mercedes unveils its new Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 ultra-luxury concept car with gullwing doors, a 2+2 electric coupé that is almost 6 meters long. Better look to extend your garage if you want to park this futuristic retro looking aero beast inside.
It has an output of 550 kW (750hp) and a range of a respectable 200 miles.
At first you’ll admire the long sleek lines of this car along with the blood red paint, elegant chrome trim, and 24″ rims.
Your eye will then meander from the huge front grille to the boot which resembles a luxury yacht. Love these narrow slit rear tail lights!
The interior and electronics of this car make the gadgets Tom Cruise uses in the Mission Impossible movies look obsolete. This here is the design concept of our future cars. However, the white seats with blue accents are reminiscent of that of the current BMW i8 and i3 electric cars, so BMW has Mercedes-Maybach beat here.
Mercedes plans to incorporate body sensors embedded into the upholstery to record light, color of occupant’s clothing, and ambient temperature to adjust the interior lighting effects. Pretty awesome isn’t it? I’d love for my Ferrari’s interior lighting to change colors…
Store some bubbly in the rear trunk for a romantic drive down to a picnic area…
…or stow your bespoke Maybach luggage in the front trunk for a spur of the moment trip to your beach house.
Don’t fret about a long drive because a 5-minute electric charge on this bad boy, DC Charging on the CCS standard, will get you an additional 62 miles. Oh yeah, you can charge wirelessly too. What’s a car like this without all the bells & whistles?
Mercedes definitely has debuted a to-die-for Maybach 6 concept car. Whether or not this car will ever reach the production line is anyone’s guess. In any case, what’s the point of life if you don’t have any dreams?
